So, I've been following more and more blogs, and as I got another Christmas card with a friend's blog address, I decided it was time to take the plunge and create my own blog. My biggest struggle in this decision was choosing a title. You'd think I could come up with something cute and clever, but Life with the Baur Boys was the most clever thing I could come up with.
Anyway, life with the Baur Boys is always an adventure. Boys of 3 & 1 can be a challenge, but also a great joy! Jack had ups and downs this week...Up: Swim class, Christmas lights, talking about Santa, , updating the Advent calendar, Christmas music, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (notice a theme?!). Down: Not listening to Mommy leading to a time-out and a delay in getting to see said Christmas lights in our front yard (by 5 minutes, but you'd have thought it was a lifetime!). We're also working on potty training, which is an up and down experience all its own.
Finn is doing great developmentally, even saying "Bye Jen" to one of his teachers today! But, we're conerned he may have yet another ear infection. So, we're going to see Dr. Ting in the a.m. (I think we're probably funding her kids' college funds); if it is an ear infection, I think its time to have our discussion about a trip to the ENT for tubes. We were so scared before Jack got tubes but they were the best possible thing for him and his ear infections.
